About CSMA
Looking for a fun after-school activity for your children but not sure what? Consider joining one of the longest running and well-recognized music education programs in the Tri-Cities area.
What began over 20 years ago as an honour choir for students in the Coquitlam school district has evolved into Coastal Sound Music Academy (CSMA) offering programs to over 200 singers from pre-school to adults. We welcome anyone with the interest, enthusiasm, and desire to sing—no former training is necessary to join.
We pride ourselves on exceptional training in all of our choirs. But we offer much more than a traditional choral setting including: a unique youth ensemble bringing movement and song together; a 60-voice non-auditioned adult choir; singing workshops for treble and changed voices; and a biennial international choral festival.
