Novisingers

Novisingers is an entrance level for girls and boys aged six and up. It includes the basics of vocal production and musicianship presented in an age-appropriate manner. The singers are introduced to music and movement in a nurturing and joyful atmosphere.

Singers advance to the next level (Girlchoirs) at their own speed, but some sight-singing skills are necessary before moving on to the Girlchoir level. The program is based on a two-year music pedagogical curriculum. This is the youngest level to perform at our two annual Academy concerts and at other community events.

First session Tuesday, September 7th, 2010 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Ecole des Pionniers (francophone school), 3550 Wellington Street, Port Coquitlam. Classes continue on Tuesdays through June 14, 2010.
