Fundraising
Coastal Sound firmly believes our programs should be accessible to everyone, no matter the economic background. Fundraising is one way we keep costs manageable for all of our singers to enrich their lives through music.
Every year Coastal Sound singers participate in two major fundraisers:
- A poinsettia sale prior to Christmas and
- A springtime dinner/auction
CSMA also accepts gifts at any time of year at www.CanadaHelps.org or by calling 604-469-5973.
Annual Poinsettia Sale
Every year beginning in late November, Coastal Sound sells beautiful premium poinsettias grown at a local greenhouse. They are available in red, white, pink and tri-colour and come in a variety of sizes.

CSMA singers must sell a quota of poinsettias or provide a cash donation "in lieu". Talk to your choir facilitator or Dan Mattinson for more information.
Annual Dinner/Auction
Our springtime dinner/auction is a favourite for attendees.
The 2007 dinner/auction was held Saturday, March 31st at Carnoustie Golf Course and was, once again, a great success. Thanks to all who attended, donated or volunteered.
Coastal Sound singers are asked to support this event by attending, donating items or donating time. A cash donation can be made "in lieu" for members unable to commit to this event. Ask your choir facilitator or Dan Mattinson for more information.
